For\u00a0LinkedIn,\u00a0a medium still often used by recruiters, users searching for jobs are advised to create multi-lingual accounts, while signalling that you\u2019re \u2018open\u2019 for offers.<\/p>\n<p>De Nationale Vacaturebank\u00a0comes in at the third spot, as\u00a0best of the rest\u00a0with a 23% share.\u00a0Monsterboard\u00a0(known as\u00a0Monster\u00a0in other areas of the world) has a 15% share, which makes them the fourth most-popular job site.\u00a0Randstad,\u00a0which acquired\u00a0Monster\u00a0worldwide in 2016, is listed in ninth. However,\u00a0Randstad\u00a0is by far the most-popular intermediary in the country; mainly for temp work, but also with its separate brand\u00a0Yacht,\u00a0for white-collar workers.<\/p>\n<p>Werk,\u00a0coming in at 5th place, is the official job board of the Dutch Government. The site is mainly used by the unemployed and people on benefits. Their vacancies are commonly not of the highest standard. Those seeking jobs in the Netherlands from abroad are better off using other websites.<\/p>\n<p>A few other pointers from the top 25:<br \/>\nJobbird (7%) is owned by\u00a0Young Capital\u00a0(5%), who themselves finished in ninth place.\u00a0Jobbird\u00a0attracts all-round vacancies, while its owner has more of an emphasis on recent-graduates and young professionals.<br \/>\nIntermediair\u00a0 (3%) is a recruitment website that focuses more on the highly-educated; permanent contracts at the top end of the market. These vacancies are often posted by recruitment and selection agencies.<br \/>\nThere are a few job-aggregators (like\u00a0Indeed) that offer a bunch of vacancies in the Netherlands:\u00a0Jobrapido,\u00a0nuwerk,\u00a0joof,\u00a0joblift en\u00a0jooble.<br \/>\nBesides\u00a0LinkedIn,\u00a0freep,\u00a03lance,\u00a0Planet\u00a0Interim,\u00a0Jellow,\u00a0job and\u00a0freelance are all interesting websites for freelancers.<br \/>\nFor temporary jobs and side-jobs, websites like\u00a0bijbaan\u00a0or platforms such as\u00a0Young Ones\u00a0and\u00a0Temper\u00a0might be good options.<br \/>\nDo not forget about social media.
